Role OverviewAs a Software Development Engineer II on the Leo Customer Terminal Application and Networking Team, you will design and build software that operates on customer terminals deployed in the field at large scale. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, networking, and cloud teams to take features from design through testing and launch.
What You Will Do
Your key responsibilities will include improving the speed and reliability of the customer's internet connection on the terminal, building software that gives customers and support teams the tools to detect and resolve issues on their own, and delivering device health and diagnostics data from the fleet reliably and efficiently.

Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, Rust, C, Java, or Python, including object-oriented design
