Role OverviewAs a Device Software Development Manager on the Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) team, you will design and develop embedded software for Amazon Leo's satellite and ground systems. You’ll work on fault-tolerant, real-time platforms, collaborating closely with hardware, systems, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance embedded solutions.
What You Will Do
Key job responsibilities include working with peer teams and customers to design suitable platform software systems and interfaces with underlying hardware, defining, building, and leading the SW integration team, developing a strategic plan for the growth of the team, hiring and developing a diverse team of software engineers, and collaborating with fellow team members to integrate various system elements.

This role requires a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of engineering team management experience, 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience, and knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
