Role OverviewThe Managed Platform Experience team manages several Tier-1 services, including Apollo Cloud Control, to provision and scale infrastructure for other Amazon teams. The team eliminates builder toil so engineers can focus on solving customer and business problems. You will join a diverse team of software engineers working to improve builder velocity, reduce operational risk, and maximize the value of existing tooling investments.
What You Will Do
You will manage services used by Amazon builders, directly hire and grow top engineering talent, and have a clear technical voice working with other teams to deliver a highly scalable and reliable service. You will continuously deliver high-quality technical solutions to delight customers and operate a critical service for Amazon.

Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
