Job Description
The Ohio Department of Public Safety is seeking a Software Development Specialist 1 to develop and/or modify programs for computer applications, perform testing and debugging, and assist with analysis and design. The primary technology is C# Object-Oriented Programming using.NET Framework, with secondary technologies including SQL (SQL Server), Web Development (HTML/JavaScript), Azure & AWS.

Requirements

  • Develop and/or modify programs for computer applications
  • Perform testing and debugging
  • Assist with analysis and design
  • Reads, writes, extracts &/or reports from individual file(s)
  • Creates &/or modifies existing program modules
  • Writes test cases &/or scripts for unit & systems testing
  • Creates or sets-up test data for performing test scenarios
