Job Description
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is seeking a software developer to help expand and improve the applications they provide to schools and families. The successful candidate will have a background in.NET Framework and Microsoft Azure, and a growth mindset that views changing technology as an exciting opportunity. Excellent communication skills are a must to enable team collaboration, information sharing, and quality mentoring.

Requirements

  • Writing, editing, testing, debugging, and optimizing program code
  • Maintaining and modifying current systems and creating new features, services, and products
  • Participating in Agile planning activities such as effort estimation, sprint planning, and design reviews
  • Ensuring high quality software products by participating in code reviews and coordinating with the application testing team
  • Providing training and support to peers and co-workers
