Job Description
Role Overview

The Software Development Specialist 3 will develop software applications, perform analysis and design, and collaborate with OMIS staff to identify and document system software requirements. The primary technology for this position is Microsoft.Net Framework.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of this position include identifying interdependencies between systems and data, performing code reviews, and ensuring agency application development standards are met. The position also involves working with assigned OMIS staff to identify and document system software requirements, performing post-production support, and leading the development, implementation, and monitoring of Information Technology quality assurance standards and testing.

  • completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems and 42 months of combined work experience in assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews, and ensuring application development standards are met, including 12 months of work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description and job posting
  • completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems and 36 months of combined work experience in assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews, and ensuring application development standards are met, including 12 months of work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description and job posting
