Role OverviewParamount is seeking a Software Engineer to build AI-powered tools, backend services, and internal platforms that support the Global Quality Engineering organization. This role will contribute to intelligent systems that improve engineering efficiency and modernize how quality engineering is performed at scale.
What You Will Do
Build backend services, CLIs, and internal tools that integrate AI capabilities into GQE workflows, implement features for AI-assisted test generation, log summarization, and defect triage, and contribute to RAG pipelines, embeddings workflows, and LLM-powered utilities.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of software engineering experience, experience building backend services, APIs, or internal tools, and familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, or AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience (Java, Kotlin, Python, or similar)
- Experience building backend services, APIs, or internal tools
- Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, or AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills and interest in AI-driven engineering
