Role OverviewJoin the P-8 Missions System Software Engineering team in Kent, WA, as a Software Engineer – Developer. The team supports operating system, hardware, platform, and application development for the P-8 Poseidon program, a premier Anti-Submarine Warfare platform for the US Navy and international partners.
What You Will Do
Develop software architectures, requirements, algorithms, code, interfaces, and designs for P8 Mission Systems Software. Collaborate with an agile, cross-functional engineering team to support software development, troubleshoot issues, and complete root cause analysis.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, 2+ years of software development experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. Experience with Java or C++, Agile software development processes, and team collaboration tools is preferred.
