Job Description
Visionist has an exciting new opportunity for a Software Engineer (AI-Assisted Developer Tooling) on its largest PRIME contract. The team crafts specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for operations user base, with a focus on innovation, excitement, and meaningful engagements.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
  • 12 years of experience in software development
  • Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages
  • Experience with IDEs, developer tools, or build and test systems
  • Hands-on experience with AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents
  • Ability to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling
  • Solid understanding of software development workflows and best practices
