Job Description
Join Jack Henry's innovative team building modular, cloud-native solutions for financial institutions. This apprenticeship provides hands-on engineering experience in a collaborative environment. The hourly wage is $25.00, and the position follows a hybrid work model with three days onsite and two days remote.

Requirements

  • Collaborating with experienced engineers to design, implement, test, and support backend microservices
  • Participating in requirements gathering, whiteboarding sessions, and architecture discussions
  • Supporting proof of concept development, implementation planning, and feature build-outs
  • Assisting with infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and observability integration
  • Participating in incident response, troubleshooting, and maintaining reliable system health
  • Working daily with business analysts, engineers, and product management, plus partnering with UI/UX and other technical teams across Jack Henry
  • Building foundational knowledge of fintech, payments, digital assets, Web3 concepts, and modern financial infrastructure
