Software Engineer (GCP)

This is a full-time professional position at Digital Management's business office located in McLean, Virginia, with relocation to unanticipated project sites throughout the US expected. The Software Engineer will perform software development duties, work cross-functionally and collaboratively to develop software applications using open-source technologies, and create single-page applications using HTML5, Angular, node.js, and java.

What You Will Do

The Software Engineer will build scalable and secure RESTful APIs using Node.js and Loopback framework, Spring boot Framework, and work with PostgreSQL/MongoDB for database integration. The engineer will troubleshoot issues and create code fixes for open-source products, address defects, and collaboratively work with functional and technical teams to integrate applications in cloud environments.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related software developer position
• 3 years of verifiable experience performing software development duties employing technological tools such as USWDS, Loopback, AWS Secret Manager, AWS Textract, Form builder, and Wiz
