Job Description
Performs moderately complex engineering duties to design, plan, and oversee the architect, design, development, and management of software systems applied to new or existing products.

Requirements

  • Develops and manages control system software for various power systems at the given partially developed requirements
  • Uses MATLAB/Simulink and/or C programming to create embedded control software
  • Deploys control algorithms to embedded controllers (rapid prototyping and production ECU)
  • Creates moderately complex software requirements, specifications and validation plans given system level definition of functional requirements.
  • Develops engineering test standards
  • Acts as a liaison between other departments as necessary
  • Maintains software portfolio; - revision control, release, obsolescence and maintenance
  • Performs other duties as assigned
