Job Description
WGU is looking for a Software Engineer II to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a combination of formal education and experience in software engineering and be responsible for researching, designing, developing, and implementing software systems.

Requirements

  • Develop web applications and web services using Java, Spring Boot framework, AWS SDK, Angular, and other web technologies
  • Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in high-pressure environments
  • Deliver high-quality projects on time through design architecture, writing high-quality code, and executing effective unit tests
  • Optimize performance tuning for high utilization 24x7 access
  • Integrate third-party products with existing infrastructure
  • Work with internal customers to gather business processes and project requirements
  • Research, design, and develop computer software systems
  • Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
  • Formulates and designs software systems
  • Develops and directs software system testing procedures
  • Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well-maintained
