Job Description
This notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an Application for Permanent Alien Labor Certification. Software Engineer III is responsible for developing, executing, and improving action plans, supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs, and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Key responsibilities include creating and configuring code, ensuring components meet business/technical requirements, and troubleshooting performance and availability bottlenecks.
Requirements
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area
OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or related area
Experience coding using object-oriented programming languages Python, Java, and Frontend using ReactJS and HTML
Experience building data pipelines using Big Data Technologies Hadoop, Apache Spark, Hive, Cassandra, MapReduce, and Kafka
Experience designing and developing Rest API webservices using Java Springboot and Python
Experience designing and writing SQL queries, and creating views and indexes in RDBMS
Experience working on GCP cloud storage to store data in buckets and Dataproc for data workloads
Experience working with CI/CD and log aggregation tools including Splunk, Jenkins, and Dynatrace, and version control tools including GIT
Experience using container management and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes for deployments
