Role OverviewThe Software Engineer Intern will support software development and engineering, operations and maintenance (O&M) and research and development (R&D) for AF C2 & ISR related research, studies, analysis, operations, and will increase mission effectiveness, improve information security, and implement new and emerging information access, processing, analysis and dissemination technologies in response to critical AF and IC multi-domain needs across Air, Space, and Cyber.

Design, develop, operate, and maintain software, firmware components, or computing systems software to be applied to and integrated with solutions or products that also encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines.

Requirements
- 1+ years experience with modern software development, e.g., Java (J2EE), JavaScript, Spring, etc. as part of a development team utilizing strict configuration management practices e.g., git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, GitHub.
- 1+ years experience with modern web application development to include JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular.
- Experience with industry standard build, packaging, and deployment tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Maven, Yum, NPM, and RPM.
- Skilled in debugging and run time
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
