Job Description
Baylor Genetics offers a comprehensive suite of genetic testing services. We are seeking a data/software engineer to develop and maintain our comprehensive genetic knowledgebases.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, a comparable program, or an equivalent qualification
3+ years of comprehensive experience in a related field
Experience in Python, R, or C++
Experience in data ETL, data management, and data sharing for genomic and clinical applications
Knowledgeable of database management systems in SQL database
Understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization
DevOps experience such as unit testing, CI/CD
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
