Job Description
FIS is seeking an experienced COBOL/Tandem programmer to join the PHASE3 team as a Software Engineer Lead. The role involves developing core software applications, identifying client requirements, and training clients on systems applications. The team works on enhancement and support projects for the real-time order-to-settlement securities processing system used by broker/dealers and correspondent clearings firms.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding and solid work experience on COBOL, TACL, Guardian procedure calls
  • Strong understanding and solid work experience on Nonstop Pathway, SQL/MP, Tandem Utilities
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills with working experience on the above skill set
  • Able to take the initiative and work independently or in a team.
  • Experience in documenting SOPs to support daily operations.
  • Domain expertise in Fintech, especially around Brokerage and Clearance
