Job Description
Specialty Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join its team of technical professionals supporting Government customers and national security mission requirements. The position involves working on software-intensive systems used in military command and control, cryptologic mission activities, and other weapons and intelligence systems.

Requirements

  • Perform software engineering tasks supporting ALRE and mission-critical software-intensive systems
  • Develop, modify, debug, and test software applications primarily using C#
  • Support lab and operational site-based system testing
  • Support Agile development practices including sprint planning, tasking, and iterative delivery
  • Create and execute software unit and integration tests and document results in accordance with program standards
  • Support software integration, verification, and validation activities in Windows and Linux environments
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues across development, test, and operational environments and provide technical recommendations
  • Produce technical documentation and formal reporting as required
  • Participate in technical meetings, reviews, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) collaboration with Government and contractor personnel
