Role OverviewWe are looking for a Software Engineer to work with our government client based in Austin, TX for a 2+ month position. The successful candidate will perform advanced computer programming work, develop software solutions, and work closely with systems analysts and architects to gather/validate requirements.
What You Will Do
The Software Engineer will write, test, debug, and document complex programs, design and develop specialized programs, and provide support for Texas Department of Agriculture applications software.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in development of web-based software applications
- 4+ years of experience in root cause analysis and resolution
- 4+ years of experience in programming in various coding languages
- 4+ years of experience in web programming using code languages
- 3+ years of experience in Agile SDLC methodology
- 3+ years of experience working on a team performing SDLC related tasks
- 3+ years of experience in intra-team collaboration for requirements gathering and software development
- 2+ years of experience using Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar
- 1+ year of experience programming in C# .Net Blazor
- 2+ years of experience porting existing codebase from Java or Windows Forms to C# .NET Blazor
- 2+ years of experience and knowledge of responsive web design practices and implementation
- 2+ years of experience and knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and implementation
- 1+ year of experience working with TDA systems
