Role OverviewAs a Software Engineering Intern – Security & Identity, you will help build secure systems and services that protect users, data, devices, and cloud infrastructure. You will work on technologies related to authentication, authorization, identity, governance, compliance, and secure software development.

You will apply engineering principles to solve complex problems through sound and creative engineering, work with stakeholders to determine user requirements, quickly learn new engineering methods, and demonstrate skill in time management and completing software projects in a cooperative team environment.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with at least one semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship
- OR currently pursuing Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with at least one semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship
- 1+ year(s) of programming experience
- 6+ months of experience in delivering projects in teams
- 1+ year(s) of experience in developing and applying data structures and algorithms
- Coursework or experience in cybersecurity, networking, operating systems, or secure software development
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, authentication, authorization, RBAC, or governance controls
- Experience building software using C#, Java, Go, Rust, Python, or similar languages
- Interest in threat modeling, secure coding practices, compliance, cloud security, and protecting large-scale services
