Role OverviewThe Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team.
What You Will Do
Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements, debugs existing software, provides recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards, and designs and codes new software or modifies existing software to add new features.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Seven years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to the customer's mission (e.g., software design, integration and modification) and/or a similar mission in the IC or DoW.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Relevant experience in software design, integration and modification
