Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineer, Test (SDET) to own quality engineering and test automation for BRINC's Web Platform and Services, our cloud product suite known as LiveOps. LiveOps powers Drone as a First Responder (DFR) programs with live video streaming, teleoperation, fleet management, data management, third-party integrations, and a growing set of mission-critical capabilities.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and suites that provide API, integration, and end-to-end coverage across the LiveOps web platform and backend services. Own end-to-end and regression testing for core LiveOps features, including live video streaming, teleoperation, fleet management, data management, and third-party integrations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
5-12 years of experience in software test engineering, SDET, or quality engineering, building automated testing for web and cloud platforms. Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Python, with the ability to write and maintain production-quality test code.
Requirements
- 5-12 years of experience in software test engineering, SDET, or quality engineering
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript and Python
- Hands-on experience building web and API test automation with Playwright
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar field, or equivalent practical experience
