Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Irving, TX, to lead the development of backend applications for the Payments Platform. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience with Java development, Spring and Hibernate frameworks, and Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases.

Requirements

  • 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a Java developer, software developer, or related
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science
  • Designing and developing computer software applications using Java J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, JMS, JDBC) and object relational mapping
  • Adhering to Spring and Hibernate development frameworks
  • Databasing using Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL
  • Working on various tiers of the application from User Interface to business logic
  • Executing testing responsibilities on unit tests, system testing, and user acceptance testing
  • Developing applications in accordance with Agile software development lifecycle methodology
