Role OverviewAmentum is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 3 to assist with system design, development, and verification testing and create system documentation and build procedures. The SIE must have experience building an Installation Package and creating a repeatable installation process for system engineers.
What You Will Do
The SIE will identify defects of system implementation documentation and build procedures, work with the development team to resolve and retest these procedures, and create system installation or build procedures or scripts. The SIE will also assist with developing, executing and analyzing integration test procedures for system components.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The SIE will serve in a leadership role providing guidance and direction to a development or engineering team in a program or perform independent research to analyze and resolve highly complex IT issues. The SIE will also develop and deliver technical presentations or demonstrations to customers or stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience building an Installation Package
- Ability to create a repeatable installation process for system engineers
- Expertise in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Installation Package
- DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IAM Level 2
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Assurance, Information Systems, or related discipline
- Twelve (12) years of experience as an engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
