Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • At least 2+ years engineering experience developing software including software integration
  • Software development experience with safety critical systems such as aviation (flight controls), automotive (airbags & ABS), healthcare (pacemakers & infusion pumps) and nuclear energy
  • Understanding Civil aircraft certification or military qualifications for aircraft
  • Software configuration management experience
  • Must be able to gain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance
  • Organization, coordination, and collaboration skills to plan and manage programmatic objectives
  • Clear and effective communication at all levels within an organization
  • Understanding of certification of airborne system/software processes (DO-178C, DO-297, DO-326, DO-254, and ARP 4754A)
  • Knowledge of DO-178C process demonstrated through execution developing airborne software preferred
