Job Description
Quest Software is seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager to drive customer retention, expansion, and growth across the Northeast region. The role involves managing existing customer accounts, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and positioning solutions to IT and business leaders. The ideal candidate will be a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in data governance, AI readiness, and database management solutions.
Requirements
5+ years of B2B software sales or account management experience.
Experience selling solutions in Data Governance, AI Readiness, Database Management, or Enterprise Software.
Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and drive renewals within enterprise and mid-market accounts.
Strong understanding of IT leadership priorities.
Experience managing a multi-state customer portfolio.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote role with regional travel (20-40%)
Technology sales preferred
Knowledge of solution and value-based selling techniques
Accurate forecasting skills
