Role OverviewWe are looking for a Software Systems Engineer to manage software/system projects and provide guidance to technical staff. The ideal candidate will have an active secret clearance and be proficient with object-oriented software design and live-virtual-constructive simulation.
What You Will Do
The Software Systems Engineer will advise team and project managers on technical problems, interact with customers and project managers, and work independently on projects of high complexity.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of four years of related experience
- Master's degree in an associated discipline and a minimum of two years of experience
- PhD in an associated discipline
- Experience with computer-based systems and applications
- Programming skills in languages used for job-specific programming tasks
- Familiarity with the application of industry standard hardware and software design and documentation techniques
- Experience with systems engineering and software development lifecycles
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Good planning/organizational skills
