Job Description
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) is seeking a Software Testing & Requirements Supervisor (IT Manager 1) to manage the team responsible for providing business analysis and quality assurance for the applications under Office of Child Support (OCS) and Office of Legal Acquisitions and Services (OLAS).

Requirements

  • Prioritize and lead system modernization and upgrades to ensure secure and efficient operations for child support case management and appeals/hearings processing systems.
  • Collaborate with business units, project managers, and development teams to align IT solutions with operational needs, manage resource allocation, and meet project timelines.
  • Guide teams in creating process documentation and developing strategies for test efficiencies.
  • Monitor and manage resource performance; set clear goals and expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs; implement staff development plans to maintain high-quality technical expertise and adaptability.
  • Optimize resource utilization by balancing workloads across projects and ensuring efficient use of time and talent to meet organizational priorities.
