Role OverviewION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company seeking a skilled Installer to assemble, install, and maintain solar PV systems. The Installer will work outdoors, on rooftops, and in attics and crawl spaces, as part of a team.
What You Will Do
Assemble and install solar panels, configure PV systems, maintain quality assurance and safety, complete projects within policies and procedures, perform routine maintenance, and assist the Electrician with connecting PV panels to the electrical system.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of PV equipment and installation, electrical wiring and equipment, and analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in solar, roofing, or construction is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational or technical school training
- Experience in solar, roofing, or construction
- Ability to work at great heights
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds at a time
