Job Description
We are seeking a Solid Waste Planner 1 to join our Waste sector team. The successful candidate will be involved in developing long-range waste management strategic plans for municipalities and supporting planning and approvals processes for waste management facilities. The role requires strong research, analysis, and interpretation skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Resources or Planning
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the areas of recycling, composting, sustainability, and waste management
  • Knowledge of circular economy and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
  • Ability to travel for projects/conferences
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
