Job Description
Evergreen Goodwill is seeking a Solution Engineer to bridge the gap between business needs and technology implementation. This internal-facing role is responsible for defining problems, conducting root cause analysis, designing solutions, and evaluating and enabling new technologies that support our retail, operational, and mission-driven programs.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, statistics, mathematics or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of Experience in a DevOps, QA, Sales Solution Architect or Technical Support role.
Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in exploring and evaluating new technologies independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and translate them into scalable solutions.
Prior experience in a technical support, QA, DevOps, or solutions engineering/architecture role—preferably in a setting where systems integration or automation was a focus.
Working knowledge of IT governance, security principles, and documentation best practices for scalable and repeatable solution design.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and sequence competing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and timelines independently.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a systems mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
Clear empathy and respect for frontline staff, with a commitment to delivering and designing practical, user-centered solutions.
Comfortable analyzing problems, thinking critically, and offering practical solutions that help teams work smarter.
