Job Description
We are hiring a Solutions/Cloud Architect 4 for our premier client in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in architectural modeling, data management concepts, and security best practices, as well as proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent).

Requirements

  • Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure Architect, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in architectural modeling, data management concepts, and security best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Considerable experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
  • Experience designing or supporting large scale healthcare or government IT systems
  • Strong understanding of MITA framework and federal interoperability requirements
  • Considerable knowledge of emerging and traditional technologies such as Node.js, Java, Angular, React, Python, REST, JSON, XML, X12, FHIR, HTML5
  • Considerable knowledge of databases, ETL tools, relational databases, SharePoint, X12, and legacy programming
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration, service-oriented architecture, APIs, cloud computing, ETL and modular system design
  • Prior work with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES)
  • Experience in state government, public sector consulting, or large enterprise architecture roles
