Job Description
MVB is looking for a Solutions Engineer to support fintech partners throughout the full lifecycle of their relationship with the bank. The role requires a strong understanding of banking, technology, compliance, and partner management, with experience in fintech, banking-as-a-service, payments, or financial infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience, including time at a sponsor bank or BaaS provider, plus experience navigating regulatory requirements and leading complex, multi-stakeholder implementations
  • Relevant experience in fintech, banking-as-a-service, payments, or financial infrastructure platforms
  • Technical implementation, solutions engineering, or integration engineering in financial services
  • Payment systems, core banking platforms, or financial technology products
  • Strong understanding of funds flows, APIs, data structures, and system integrations
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple systems and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven domains such as KYC/KYB, AML, card issuing, or payments operations
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
