Job Description
Convergint is looking for a full-time Solutions Estimator to join our culture. As a Solutions Estimator, you will bridge the gap between entry level estimators and senior design and estimating professionals by preparing accurate cost estimates for large-scale RFPs, greenfield projects, and complex scopes.

Requirements

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for large-scale RFPs, greenfield projects, and complex scopes
  • Analyze project requirements, specifications, and technical documents
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and project management teams
  • Evaluate project scopes, interpret blueprints, analyze costs, and make decisions
  • Participate in site walks, pre-bid meetings, and technical discussions
  • Source pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and partners
  • Work closely with Solutions Estimator 1 team members, providing mentorship and guidance
  • Identify scope gaps, project risks, and value engineering opportunities
  • Prepare professional and competitive proposals
  • Track project costs, potential risks, and margins
