Role OverviewThe Sourcing Analyst will work under the direction of the Sourcing Supervisor, soliciting and evaluating proposals, making recommendations, and monitoring supplier performance for routine, established, and customary requirements. The analyst will process agency purchase requisitions, ensure Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Encouraging Diversity Growth & Equity (EDGE) vendor utilization, and review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
What You Will Do
The Sourcing Analyst will provide technical assistance to other agencies and ODPS divisions with contract negotiations and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. The analyst will also prepare specifications for development of contracts for goods and personal service acquisitions, research quotes, and prepare cost analysis, and review contractual language and evaluate bids received and recommend awards.
