Role OverviewThe Sourcing Planner will be responsible for fleet and equipment purchasing for the state, creating and maintaining fleet and equipment specifications, and managing statewide equipment funding. This role is part of the Office of Equipment Management at the Ohio Dept of Transportation (ODOT).

The Sourcing Planner will be responsible for fleet and equipment purchasing, creating and maintaining specifications, and managing budgets. They will also be responsible for evaluating vendor performance and developing sourcing strategies.

Requirements
- 42 months of experience or 42 months of training in purchasing/procurement/sourcing
- completion of undergraduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management, or logistics
- completion of graduate core in public or business administration, purchasing, materials management, contracting, acquisition management, or logistics
- 24 months of experience as a Sourcing Analyst
- 12 months of experience as a Senior Sourcing Analyst
