Job Description
AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Project Engineer to aid in the execution of manufacturing and capacity projects to support supply chain growth initiatives. The role will support project management activities to onboard and qualify external suppliers, including Metal Complex Machining, MIM, plastic injection molding & various other partners, to ensure manufacturability. The Sourcing Project Engineer will focus project efforts on process optimization which can include changes to manufacturing methodology and supply chain strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical role supporting the manufacture of complex products – medical device preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, technical writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing and manufacturing technologies.
  • Experience in problem solving and trouble shooting.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications.
  • Highly-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
