Job Description
Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, optimize procurement and sourcing processes, and drive cost savings while minimizing supply chain risk.

Requirements

  • Partner with sourcing leadership team to manage the company's supply portfolio
  • Develop and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
  • Create metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier effectiveness
  • Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
  • Create negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
  • Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
  • Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques to ensure supply chain protection
  • Minimize supply chain risk by diversifying supply partners
  • Facilitate meetings for supply chain development and sourcing efforts
  • Onboard new suppliers by processing all necessary regulatory documents
  • Prepare Oracle Purchase orders/requisitions
  • Facilitate supplier visits within the facility
  • Develop strong working relationships with all functional teams
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
  • Develop familiarity with regulatory requirements to make compliance recommendations
  • Travel to domestic and international contract manufacturers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed
  • Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training
  • Focus on continuous improvement and provide recommended solutions
  • Demonstrate good business judgment especially as related to negotiating and closing sales
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations
