Role Overview

Join the Clean Energy Revolution as a Sourcing Senior Specialist at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll support the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives that enable the energy infrastructure of the future. As a member of the Operational Direct Services Procurement Team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver procurement solutions that drive value, innovation, operational excellence, and supplier performance.

What You Will Do

Ensures key aspects relating to risk management, quality, ethical sourcing, sustainability, and legal compliance are in line with the company's policies. Updates supplier-provided agreements as well as contracting policies and procedures for negotiations and governing use by internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in supply chain, procurement, and/or contract management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience using SAP software in a purchasing environment, and utilizing Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, and P2P modules.
  • Experience sourcing services.
  • Experience of purchasing practices and policies, and knowledge of procurement contracts and standard terms and conditions.
  • Experience with industry best practices, standards, utility regulations, procedures, and compliance as they relate to purchasing.
  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, and analyzing information and making strategic decisions regarding scope, impact, policy, development, and implementation.
  • CPM, CPSM, CPCM, CCCM, and/or PMP certification(s).
