Job Description
The Sous Chef will lead the kitchen team, manage food-related functions, and ensure high-quality products are produced while maximizing financial performance. They will guide and develop staff, maintain sanitation and food standards, and oversee food preparation areas.
Requirements
6 years of experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
High school diploma or GED; 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
Ability to lead, influence, and encourage others
Interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to supervise and coordinate activities
Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
Ability to prepare and cook foods of all types
