Job Description
Join us for this incredible opportunity at the Grand Hyatt Washington hotel in Washington, D.C. as a Sous Chef for our brand-new upscale restaurant Oribu. The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of various sushi types and sushi rolling techniques and excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team in a high-energy environment.
Requirements
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience working with sushi
Passion for creating incredible food that delights and attracts customers
Creative and innovative thinking
Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
Experience with training, basic financial management, and customer service
Proficient in general computer knowledge
Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
