Job Description
We are seeking a Taskforce Sous Chef for a temporary assignment to support our culinary leadership team at Alila Ventana Big Sur. This role is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional, locally inspired cuisine.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook in a high-end culinary operation
  • Must commit to at least a 30 to 60 day assignment
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen organization
  • Demonstrated ability to support kitchen leadership and train others
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Spanish fluency a plus
  • Flexible availability for varying shifts, including holidays and weekends
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred
