Role OverviewThe South Central Region Transportation Business Group Director will lead the region's transportation business group in executing the company's 5-year strategic plan and deliver annual plans. They will support area transportation leadership, engage as a reviewer or approver for MOA actions, and work with areas to develop and achieve annual plans for various metrics.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will lead development of the annual financial plan for the transportation business group, partner with regional directors on review and approval of MOA actions, and coordinate with other TBG leadership for nominations of regional staff for officer and professional development programs.

This role requires a senior leader with experience in transportation business groups, related operations, and/or sectors, including highways, transit, aviation, maritime, freight rail, and/or federal transportation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience, reside within the South Central region or be willing to relocate, and possess strong business skills and a commitment to HDR's values and culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering, or closely related field
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in a related field
