Spa Supervisor

The Spa Supervisor will assist Spa Management with spa activities, special projects, and other spa responsibilities as needed. They will have a comprehensive knowledge of all spa services and tour guests through the spa facilities. The supervisor will oversee the activities of all shift team members, evaluate individual performance, and provide coaching opportunities for improvement. They will also maintain a calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations and develop positive relationships with staff.

What You Will Do

The Spa Supervisor will be responsible for assisting with spa activities, handling daily paperwork, opening and closing the spa, ensuring all areas are immaculate, and performing spa attendant duties as needed. They will also provide oversight of team members, with regard to Quality Control, and support staff by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of spa experience with supervisory duties preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Reliability and punctuality are critical.
• Ability to work in a quiet environment to respect Ojo’s whisper policy.
• Ability to handle exposure to heat and steam from the sauna and steam rooms.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather including heat and cold.
• Ability to stand and move for eight hours or more per day, both indoors and outdoors, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and push/pull items and laundry bins weighing 40 lbs or more.
• A positive, friendly attitude with guests is essential.
• The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
