Role OverviewThe Office of Labor Relations (OLR) represents the Mayor in labor relations between the City of New York and labor unions. The Special Counsel will provide legal counsel on employee health benefits and develop a compliance framework for the agency's healthcare and employee benefits.
What You Will Do
Provide legal guidance on health and employee benefit plans, ensure organizational compliance with federal and New York State laws, advise on legal risks, and design a scalable compliance framework.

Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience
- 18 months of experience in supervising other attorneys in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity
