Job Description
Special Ed Classroom Assistant provides instruction and support to students with various disabilities under the direction of a Special Education teacher.
Requirements
Valid TASN (NCLB) paraprofessional license from the Illinois State Board of Education
60 semester hours of college credit or completion of a paraprofessional exam
Good knowledge of the characteristics of students with various disabilities
Ability to work with and for students with various disabilities
Ability to follow written and oral instructions and direction
Ability to complete and maintain basic written reports
