Job Description
Assists in the instruction of disabled students in elementary and high schools, under the supervision of a Special Education teacher. Provides one-on-one tutoring services, personal hygiene, and assists students with physical disabilities. Requires a valid TASN paraprofessional license and good knowledge of students with various disabilities.

Requirements

  • Valid TASN paraprofessional license from the Illinois State Board of Education
  • Good knowledge of students with various disabilities
  • Good knowledge of English grammar and spelling
  • Good knowledge of basic mathematics
