As a Special Education Aide, you will assist a SPED classroom teacher in supervising and managing children, allowing the teacher to focus on educational needs. You will implement the daily program, plan and prepare the learning environment, and work with students to review instruction and assist with activities.
What You Will Do
Assist in implementing the daily program, planning and preparing the learning environment, working with students, supervising outside activities, and performing clerical tasks. You will also attend staff meetings and training programs, and operate and care for instructional equipment.

Requirements
- High School degree, GED, or equivalent experience
- Speak, read, and write English fluently
- Successful results of criminal and employment background check
- Experience in working with children, preferably children with disabilities
- Be in the process of becoming professionally prepared to supervise young children
