Job Description
The Special Education Elementary Resource Teacher will be responsible for the administration and supervision of the educational programs for Kindergarten-5th grade students with disabilities. The position involves both teaching students as well as carrying a caseload of special education students to ensure special education instruction is provided to meet State of Nevada as well as federal standards for special education.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education required
  • Nevada Special Education License required
  • At least two (2) years experience in special education preferred
  • Working knowledge of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) required
