Role OverviewThe Special Education Paraeducator will support students in their educational program under the direct supervision of a special education teacher. The role involves assisting with classroom instructional goals, implementing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals, and providing support for students with high management needs.
What You Will Do
The paraeducator will assist with tasks such as maintaining student records, assisting with lesson plan materials, and supporting students during recess, breaks, and field trips. They will also assist with data collection and provide teacher information for progress monitoring.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency
- ParaPro Certificate
- Bachelor's Degree, Preferred
- Associate's Degree in education or related field or ParaPro Certificate or two (2) years of college required
- Two (2) years of experience working with children or young adults in a school setting, preferred
